FIRE has also launched a website dedicated to the Student Kit at campusrights.org.   “FIRE’s Student Kit will be invaluable for the many brave students who want real reform and respect for individual liberties on their campuses,” said FIRE President Greg Lukianoff. “It will provide them with the intellectual ammunition they need to prevail against the purveyors of censorship.”   FIRE’s Student Kit provides college students with all the necessary tools for understanding student rights in higher education and for defending and asserting these rights. Each kit includes a wealth of materials that will help college and university students advocate for freedom of speech, due process, religious liberty, fundamental fairness, and freedom of conscience on their respective campuses. These materials are:   the newly released box set of FIRE’s Guides to Student Rights on Campus, a highly regarded series of short primers on basic rights in higher education; a FIRE affinity identification card; a FIRE brochure describing how FIRE works and how it can help students; and one of three limited-edition posters advertising FIRE’s flagship publication, its Guide to Free Speech on Campus. Enrollment also includes a one-year subscription to The FIRE Quarterly and a subscription to FIRE’s e-mail updates, both of which will alert student activists to the latest happenings relating to individual freedoms on campuses across America.   “These are not the only resources FIRE makes available to students who want to make sure their rights are respected,” Lukianoff noted. “We make a wealth of information available to students on our website, especially Spotlight: The Campus Freedom Resource, our extensive database that details the state of liberty at over 350 colleges and universities.
