Israeli Prime Minister Meets With President, Congress
In his first official visit to Washington, DC as Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Olmert met with the President and was warmly welcomed during an address to a joint meeting of Congress. Mr. Olmert thanked Congress and the Administration for their steadfast support of the Jewish state and for keeping pressure on the Hamas-led Palestinian government to recognize Israel and renounce terrorism. He also met with Jewish community leaders, including Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, to further explain his realignment plan for the West Bank.

    The League’s Israel Office is delivering workshops on global anti-Semitism to the Israeli Air Force. The first workshops, presented to officers in Palmachim and Ramat David, were received with excellent feedback. 

  • Candidate for Attorney General Stumps for White Supremacists
    Larry Darby, a candidate for Alabama Attorney General, attended a closed door meeting of white supremacists organized by the virulently anti-Semitic and racist National Vanguard, where he had been invited to speak about his views. More>>


  • Oregon: Ex-Skinhead Arrested On ADL Tip
    Acting on a tip from ADL, officials in Oregon arrested a fugitive wanted for violating his parole by meeting with white supremacists. Kyle Brewster, an ex-racist skinhead who spent 14 years in prison for taking part in one of Oregon's most notorious hate crimes, was arrested during a routine meeting with his parole officer. More>>

  • Former Nazi Removed From Space History Museum
    The New Mexico Space History Museum Commission removed Dr. Hubertus Strughold from the Museum's International Hall of Fame after ADL provided documents that linked Strughold to grisly experiments on Jews and gypsies at Dachau concentration camp.  More>>

  • Wyoming: ADL Calls for Religious Funding Probe
    The League’s Mountain States Regional Office expressed concern about reports that taxpayer funds in Wyoming are being funneled to faith-based organizations to promote religious agendas, and called on the state attorney general to investigate whether the funding violates the Wyoming Constitution and long-standing principles of separation of church and state.  More>>

  • Florida: Judaica Store Vandalized
    ADL’s Florida Regional Office reached out to law enforcement and the community following an anti-Semitic attack against a popular Jewish gift and book shop in Boca Raton. Swastikas and anti-Jewish slurs were painted on the storefront and a van parked nearby.
