The tragic shootings at the Jewish Federation in Seattle last week have once again reminded us that the hatred of Jews is not confined to the Middle East. It is a sad fact that Jewish organizations need to be more security conscious than most.

As we face increasing threats, an updated version of ADL’s comprehensive security toolkit, designed specifically for Jewish organizations and institutions, has been published. The Protecting Your Jewish Institution manual and accompanying DVD include:
  • Guidance on security planning and implementation
  • Strategic advice for administrators and staff
  • Video vignettes with realistic security scenarios and response options
  • Threats unique to Jewish institutions
  • Special security challenges presented by High Holy Days

ADL has also developed On Guard, a quarterly e-mail newsletter providing the latest updates and supplements to the security manual. Sign up for the On Guard newsletter today.

For years the Anti-Defamation League has led the way in security awareness and promoting the safety of the Jewish community. Help make a difference by supporting the ADL so that we can continue to provide these important security resources for our Jewish communities.
