Major Success for LEEP Program In October 2009, JINSA sponsored the National Bomb Squad Commanders Advisory Board (NBSCAB) for an intensive program in Israel. Holiday Appeal for Deserving Soldiers in Full Swing: Designed to Brighten Holidays for Our Troops For the seventh year in a row, members and non-members alike are supporting our military through JINSA's Holiday Program. As in the past, the contributions are distributed to brighten the holidays for service men and women who are in considerable financial need. The intent is to assist them with groceries to ensure a festive and dignified holiday for them and their families, thus ensuring the opportunity to celebrate the holidays which they wouldn't otherwise have had. Once again, a percentage of the funds raised will be allocated for use on behalf of members of our military who have sustained catastrophic injuries and need financial assistance. Every cent raised goes to the troops. For further information, please contact mhalteman@jinsa.org, JINSA staff member, who is coordinating the appeal. The results of the 2009 Holiday Appeal will appear in the next newsletter. |
