#572 Israels Right to Exist and American Interests
(2006-05-19) Unilateral Israeli withdrawal from additional territory will
leave a political as well as military vacuum to be filled by those same

getting Hamas to accept Israels right to exist, the real challenge is how
best to ensure that forward-looking governments, including Jordan, continue
to exist in the Middle East. Read the analysis in JINSA Report #572.

#574 Palestine is Pass
(2006-05-25) We have no desire to contradict Israeli Prime Minister Olmert on
his maiden voyage to the U.S. or to undermine a democratic leader with whose
country we have much in common. And President Bush wasnt about to dump on the
idea of a future Israeli realignment. But U.S. support for any Israeli policy
has to be grounded in American security requirements and an understanding of
the stakes for all of us. The fact is, in the political reality of 2006,
Palestine as a defined geographic entity is rapidly becoming pass. Read the
analysis in JINSA Report #574.
