#512 Fran OBriens and the Soldiers
(2005-08-26) For more than a year, JINSA and its members have been helping to
make the lives of wounded soldiers recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical
Center a little better by showing them a bit of weekly normalcy - a Friday
night out. We are disgusted by news that anti-war protesters have been
congregating at Walter Reed and heckling the buses that leave to take the
soldiers to the restaurant on Friday nights. If you support the troops, you
support those who have made a personal sacrifice to do what their country
asked of them. You help them heal. These protesters are the antithesis of

#513 Getting It
(2005-08-30) The successes against the odds so far in Iraq are the first and
best reason for the U.S. and its coalition partners to stay the course. The
Iraqi people have proven that they will go to the polls under fire, but they
and other potential voters in the Middle East need American assurance that

(2005-09-01) As the U.S. approaches the 4th anniversary of 9-11, we remain
clueless about planning for major disasters in American cities. Hurricane
Katrina is an unmitigated disaster for the people of the Gulf Coast. If it
isnt a wake-up call for the rest of us, what will be? Read the analysis in
